Ashes to ashes
Dust to dust.
The preacher motions to the
Father, Son and Holy Spirit
The air,
Heavy and full of sorrow
Salty tears mix with emotions
Of overloaded hearts
Words of sympathy do nothing
For many a grieveing soul
The church is filled with black
Dressing the pews with
Sadness
Flowers fill the alter
A pleasant contrast to the
Heavy wooden casket
Loved ones flock for a final
Goodbye
Tears falling silently from mourning eyes
A whispered prayer floats
Through tensioned air
Slowly lifting some of the pain
Another body lowered into the earth
To always be remembered,
Never forgotten
Kept alive in memories and
Your kiss is so gentle
But your touch is extreme
Your goal is to hurt
You want to hear me scream
I lay helpless in the bed
Cause I've given up the fight
And as you take advantage
I pretend everything's alright
The screams turn to tears
That run silently from my eyes
I try to escape from reality
As I feel you between my thighs
Why do I deserve this
I've always been true
All I wanted was love
You only wanted to screw
A life I never asked for
A life I don't deserve
You took away my innocence
That I tried so hard to preserve
A filthy whore you made me
A slut who walks the streets
Your wrath I will endure
If your demands ar
My head
My heart
My mind
My soul
They all scream the same word
LIAR.
My smile
My eyes
My laugh
My voice
They all speak the same word
LIAR.
My actions
My body
My hands
My lips
They all whisper the same word
TRUTH.

Virtual Love -- Chapter 5
The rest of the day goes by in a blur. I can't focus on anything in class, anything the teachers say just goes in one ear and out the other. The final bell rings after Spanish and I am the first one out of the room with Dead Memories by Slipknot pumping though the headphones as loud as I can stand it.
"Lucy! Lucy! LUCY!" Andy screams down the hall trying desperately to catch my attention.
I don't hear anything thanks to the music and keep walking to my locker and start to put in my combination when Andy catches up to me and rips my headphones out.
"Really Lucy," he asks. "Slipknot?"
"Yes," I reply coolly, grabbing
A teenage girl walks through the halls,
Making her way to her next class.
She sees her friends and hears their calls,
But she pays no attention.
Every day, a constant battle, a struggle, a fight,
Between where she is and where she wants to be.
Her head and heart in a never ending plight,
But she pays no attention.
She somehow makes it through her classes,
Working through her thoughts and questions.
Surrounded by like teens in masses,
But she pays no attention.
The contradicting music slowly fills her head,
Blocking out the world around her.
Wondering what could lie ahead,
But she pays no attention.

On A Lonely Night
A lover sleeps on a lonely night
Searching through dreams for morning light.
Her future, she knows, is bright
For her counterpart is in sight.
They seal their love with a soft kiss
Every touch, a moment of tender bliss.
How can somebody so perfect exist?
When he's gone, his presence she will miss.
Slowly stonger thier love grew
His loving arms she fell into.
They strongest bond of love so true,
A feeling of euphoria, long overdue.
A romance filled with cute cliches
And every single night she prays.
For his love to never go astray
And forever in his heart will she stay.
A lover sits, happiness warming his heart
Praying that hi

Things Left Unsaid
Girl: Your new girlfriend is pretty. (I bet she stole your heart)
Boy: Yeah, she is. (But you're still the most beautiful girl I know)
Girl: I heard she's funny and amazing. (All the stuff I wasn't)
Boy: She sure is. (But she's nothing compared to you)
Girl: I bet you know everything about her by now. (Like how you knew just about everything about me)
Boy: Only the stuff that counts. (I can't even remember the stuff she tells me when I think of you)
Girl: Well, I hope you guys last. (Because we never did)
Boy: I hope we do too. (Whatever happened to me & you?)
Girl: Well I got to go. (Before I start to cry)
Boy: Yeah me too. (I hope
Dang! It's been freaking forever since I've been on and I missed all of you! School is keeping me pretty busy right now so... its quite annoying.
Preseason hockey isn't coming to my town and lets just say I'm a bit mad about it! I mean, come on! That's practically the only time I get to watch professional hockey in person... oh well. I'll just have to play more :)
Yes, I finally convinced my parents to let me start lessons and I LOVE THEM. I cannot wait till I can play on an actual team and kick butt. But until then, I will practice kicking butt.
I am just glad it's finally hockey season again! The kids in my history class and I created a
asjkjgbkelajbehjuabkmaowhbnaj. How come my boyfriend cannot recognize good poetry? I mean, good freaking lord. I just spilled my heart out into this poem about us and he... well, let's just say he isn't the poetic/romantic type like I am. Oh well. At least it wasn't something lame like "Roses are red, violets are blue..." yayda yayda yayda! What can I do about it, eh?
Oh yeah, having Coca-Cola is NOT a good idea an hour before bed. It's almost 1 in the morning where I am right now and I am just wide awake. Oh good. This is going to be a fun 2 hours before the stupid caffiene wears off. Lesson learned on my part.
I have one week of summer le
